For certain types of products, it is sufficient to present the letter of exemption to the Russian customs authority as the customs or product code is present in the customs list of products but, for technical - regulatory issues (eg used products, already certified spare parts, etc. .), are outside the compulsory EAC Certification procedure foreseen by the Technical Regulations. The exemption letter is written in Russian and is issued by accredited certification bodies.
